After breaking my back in high school, doctors told me I would never play sports again. I ignored them and successfully rehabilitated myself with the help of my chiropractor. I even earned a scholarship to play at Auburn University as a linebacker and fullback. During my redshirt junior year, however, I broke my back again, so I decided to really dedicate my time to my degree in Exercise Science and Health Promotions, so I could help prevent others from what I went through.
Early in my career, I traveled all over the U.S. training professional athletes and celebrities. As we trained, I noticed that most training facilities were uninspiring and predictable. Most were not clean or organized, and many had a strange energy. Almost none of them had a system of service to actually help people build a healthier lifestyle. They were all the same: front desk, offices, cardio section, machine section, free weight section, and huge locker rooms.
I saw an opportunity to create a space where people were truly inspired. I wanted something that tapped into the energy of my college athletic training days: teamwork, energy, and community. And, I really wanted to create a place that was genuinely results-oriented.
One day, I accidentally double-booked two clients. These clients couldn’t be more different from each other. One was a professional athlete and the other was a mom getting her fitness routine back on track. Rather than cancel them, I paired them up to tackle a circuit of workouts together. It was a huge success. The feedback was incredible. I thought that if these two individuals could have an amazing workout together, why not develop a real system around partner training?
And that’s how PIT was born. Partner Interval Training is a personal training session in a group format. Classes where people with different fitness levels can come together, motivate each other through exercise stations, and get maximum results for their unique fitness level.
Legacy isn’t just another gym. It is a community that is united by the unrelenting commitment to self-improvement. It doesn’t matter how much money you have, where you’ve been, or what you look like. If you’re dedicated to showing up, making the effort, and improving yourself so that you can serve and inspire those around you, then you are living a No Days Off lifestyle. And our training system, PIT, will get you in the best shape of your life.
I truly believe that if you have a cause greater than yourself, then work becomes more of a duty & purpose rather than something you “have” to do. It’s something you “want” to do. Legacy is about having an impact on others that goes far beyond gym walls.
My purpose is to keep building this No Days Off community and spark change in people so that they have a real desire to become the very best version of themselves. I want my legacy to be that “I never took a day off on life” for both myself and those around me. I commit to you, that when we say we want you walking out of our gyms better than you walked in, we meant it to the core.
Our doors are open. Try your first session for free & join the movement.
Find a location near you and let’s pick a class time. Just show up, and we’ll take it from there. We know you’re going to love it. It’s time to start your Legacy.
